International Women's month is an annual event each March, celebrated in many countries around the world as a time when women are recognized for their contributions and achievements without regard to divisions, whether national, ethnic, linguistic, cultural, economic or political
International Women's Week is Evergreen's way of celebrating this important event
All are invited to participate- All genders, races, colors, sexualities, sizes, and abilities welcome

Raffle tickets and cupcakes to be sold Monday through Thursday during March 8-12th, 12-3 pm in red square if weather permits. If it's raining, then they'll be sold under the library overhang!
Tickets are one dollar and cupcake prices will vary
All proceeds go towards supporting Evergreen's Women's Resource Center, which meets at 1:30 pm every Wednesday, in the WRC office, on the 2nd floor of the seminar one building.

Monday March 8th
Body Positivity Workshop
This workshop, facilitated by Alysia Angel, will be a safe-space discussion for people to discuss their relationship with body image. Come share your stories, your problems, your angst, and your joy about your bodies. All around, this workshop will be empowering.
Location: the Evergreen State College Sem II E1107
Time: 3-4 pm
Massage Workshop
This hands-on workshop given by Mandy Zabohne will focus on teaching massage techniques specifically focusing on Women's bodies and bike pains (that you might now realize you even have!) Be prepared to get a little personal with the workshop group.

Tuesday March 9th
Birth Attendants
This will be a workshop presented by the Birth Attendants of Olympia, who work with incarcerated women and reproductive justice.
Location: The Evergreen State College Lecture Hall 5
Time: 6-7:30 pm
Film: The Business of Being Born, followed by discussion
Birth is a miracle, a rite of passage, and a natural part of life. But birth is also big business.
The film interlaces intimate birth stories with surprising historical, political and scientific insights and shocking statistics about the current maternity care system.
Should most births be viewed as a natural life process, or should every delivery be treated as a potentially catastrophic medical emergency?

WTF Bike Workshop
This bike workshop will be a safe space for Women, Trans and Female Identified people to come work on their bikes, or get any information that they need. Know nothing about bikes? This workshop is for you too. Please remember to bring your bike!

Lecture on Science Education and the WA Correction Center for Women
Q&A session to follow, with Sarah Clarke of The Sustainable Prisons Project.

Presented by Rachel Bennett of the WRC. Come learn about fertility signs, learn how to chart your fertility for pregnancy prevention, pregnancy achievement, and overall reproductive health. We will also be discussing cooperative natural forms of birth control. Partners welcome.

Working with questions posed in the Learning Good Consent zine, participants will explore the many faces of consent and how to ask for it.

Vagina Owner & Operator Workshop by EQA
A guide to using and maintaining your vagina.
Includes safety information, kink demonstrations and open dialogues pertaining to vaginas.
